DayLight Savings is one of hottest topics of Google Trends now a day. The interesting factor regarding DayLight saving is that it may have been a short sleep this Sunday as the clocks jumped ahead for DayLight Saving Time purpose.
The DayLight Saving Time kicked off today at 2:00 a.m. Here, the point to be noted is that every year DST takes place on 2nd Sunday of March with most of the US turning clocks up at 2:00 a.m. to avoid the disruption. The DayLight Saving Plan gives an extra hour of daylight during warm weather.
But this change may cause problems for occupations tied to the sun like farming. DST begins between March and ends in November.
The National Geographic says that the federal government doesn’t require U.S. states or territories to observe Daylight Saving Time, that’s why residents of following areas won’t need to change their time:-
the Virgin Islands
And the Northern Marianas Islands.
