Punjab Government aims to modernize Public Transport

Pakistani Government is trying its best to meet all the basic necessities of their people. Recently, Punjab Chief Minister distributed a large no. of Laptops to students for education purposes. Now, he is trying to improve Public Transport.

He said that public transport facilities of international standard were being provided to the people across the province. According to him, the basic aim of upgrading the transport system is to provide efficient, quality and comfortable travelling facilities to the masses.

Shahbaz Sharif said in a statement that the Punjab Government had completed projects worth billion of rupees in the most transparent manner through which people had been provided substantial relief and the Punjab Government had decided to introduce intelligent Transport System.

The Chief Minister was of the view that under this intelligent transport System,   traffic flow would be controlled through a central traffic command and control system so that in case of any accident or emergency, human lives could be saved as efficiently as possible. Moreover, he elaborated that the system would consist of modern equipment that would help in a smooth flow of traffic.
