Marco Rubio, Florida senator told during an interview that Florida winner will be the nominee for general election.
The interview of Rubio, a Republican, aired on CNBC for 30 minutes before the Associated Press called the race for Mitt Romney.
He said, “The argument I would make is that if you win in Florida, and especially if you win decisively, I think it positions you to do very well in the general election.”
Rubio cleared that he is not promoting any presidential candidate.
“I’m not saying the campaign is going to end tomorrow, I’m not calling for anyone to drop out,” he said.
He told that the reason of always supporting Florida because Florida is a mini-America. It’s kind of a microcosm of the country.
Rubio stressed that he has not endorsed anyone and has no plan to endorse anyone in the Republican primary.
