Today on Tuesday, it is celebrating National Pan Cake Day at IHOP. For this purpose, IHOP Restaurants are offering guests a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes nationwide. In return of these free pancakes, guests have to make a voluntary donation in order to support the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital as well as other local charities.
IHOP stands for “International House for Pancakes” and is a US-based restaurant. The IHOP Chain has more than 1,500 restaurants in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
On talking about Pancake Celebration today, ISOP said that it has collected more than $5.35 million for charities — and given away more than 10 million buttermilk pancakes — since it began the annual fundraising fete 7 years ago.
